Overview
Where laxity is mild, energy-based treatments stimulate collagen remodelling and can improve skin quality without an excisional scar. Realistic assessment matters: these treatments refine, they do not replace surgery when redundancy is significant.
Who it suits
- Mild to moderate laxity of the face, neck, abdomen or arms
- Patients not yet ready for, or not requiring, surgery
- Maintenance following a surgical procedure
The procedure
45 to 90 minutes per session, usually with topical or local anaesthesia and little to no downtime.
Recovery

Collagen remodelling progresses and firmness improves.
Results
Gradual improvement over three months, typically maintained with annual sessions.
