Neck Lift

Restoration of a defined jaw-to-neck angle by treating skin laxity, fat and the platysma muscle bands.

Overview

Neck ageing has three components: excess skin, fullness beneath the chin, and separation of the platysma muscle. Treating only one produces a partial result, so the assessment determines which combination applies to you.

Who it suits

  • Loose skin or vertical banding of the neck
  • Fullness under the chin despite a stable weight
  • Loss of the sharp angle between jaw and neck

The procedure

2 to 3 hours. A small incision beneath the chin allows muscle tightening and contouring; skin redraping is achieved through incisions behind the ears when required.

Recovery

Days 1–5

Supportive garment worn, swelling most noticeable.

Week 2

Return to most daily activity and desk work.

Weeks 4–8

Contour refines; exercise resumed progressively.

Results

A durable, defined neckline that continues to age naturally from a better starting point.

Questions

Is liposuction enough on its own?
